LEE, Mass.—Canna Provisions, the award-winning Western Mass retail dispensary voted #1 adult-use cannabis retailer for the Pioneer Valley has teamed up with the City of Holyoke for 2023 Holyoke St. Patrick’s Day Road Race and St. Patrick’s Day Parade. 

This marks the first time a cannabis business has been an official sponsoring partner in the 70 years of the parade’s history. 

Canna Provisions has been part of a passionate and dedicated platoon of over 300 volunteers and local businesses, working with the race crew on everything from ensuring proper signage for the race and parade is put up and taken down, orchestrating events and gatherings, to sponsoring gift baskets for volunteers at the Parade Committee and Road Race committee. Also: helping execute Marshall Mania, Dobbin Day, and Golf Tournament Committees, and becoming an essential player in the race and parade amidst the city’s 150th Anniversary celebration along the way.

We are thrilled to have Canna Provisions in the ‘rolling’ Paper City celebrating with us this St. Patrick’s Day season and also 150 years of innovation, industry, culture, and now weed!” 

“It’s been an incredible experience joining the parade committee and officially partnering as a sponsor for the 2023 parade and race,” says Canna Provisions CEO Meg Sanders. “Getting to engage with and work alongside over 300 volunteers putting this whole event on, as well as helping raise $500k together to help pay for the events, and meeting the fourth-ever female Grand Marshall Jane Coughlin in the 70 year history of the parade has been marvelous. It has really driven home and reaffirmed  the deep roots the Irish community has in the city of Holyoke.”
