PRESS ROOM: THE YOUNG JURKS + ERIK WILLIAMS = INTERVIEW GREATNESS

Since we are approaching two major events – the launch of Chemdog’s first legal harvest of cannabis flower (be sure to sign up for our Canna Fam email list as that’s the only way to learn about product drops), and 4/20 – it seems only right to throw things back.

But not too far. We’re talking just a few months ago when our COO Erik Williams – long a cannabis fixture in the national scene as both operator as well as activist – was invited on Massachusetts cannabis community megaphone and national weed news vein: The Young Jurks.

Ostensibly the interview was in response to comments Williams gave earlier to The Berkshire Edge regarding the then just-launched CDA imbroglio.

But what was supposed to be a quick interview turned into a dynamic and nearly two-hour conversation between Williams, host and longtime activist Mike Crawford, as well as Grant Smith, a well respected Massachusetts cannabis activist and patients rights advocate.

The sprawling conversation touched on Chemdog coming out of the shadows and into the role of Director of Cultivation at Canna Provisions, (whose first line launches this month, only at Canna Provisions) the Massachusetts industry, some interplay and devil’s advocate debate, and ultimately a refreshing and informative local cannabis meeting-of-the-minds.
