Smash Hits Strain by Chemdog
Some strains are the stuff of legend. The MAC 1 strain (Cap’s cut) is the prime example. Cap has one rule: Only those who could truly appreciate the strain could get access to his genetics and cuts. Lucky for us, Chemdog is our head grower, and Chemdog happens to be one of the elite few to be trusted to grow Cap’s cut of MAC 1, which comes from his personal crop. Who’s Cap you may say? Short for Capulator, he is an old school breeder from the days of genetic message boards. And his MAC 1 – short for “Miracle Alien Cookies” but also has been called “Mother of All Cannabis” – is the stuff of legend and song. With grandparent origins of Starfighter x Colombian, Cap forgot about seeds he got from that cross before the seeds survived an ill fated trip to the washing machine. Of the 15 seeds that germinated only one plant survived: “Miracle 15” pheno. That Miracle 15 crossed with Alien Cookies F2 #7 to make the eventual MAC 1. What we have here is the Caps Cut version of his MAC1, so it’s coming from his personal crop. Cap decided to make a rule for the MAC: Only growers who had put in the time and had a passion for the plant would get his genetics and cuts. Thankfully one of those growers is Chemdog. And now it’s available to you.
MAC (Miracle Alien Cookies, and affectionately dubbed as the “Mother of All Cannabis”) 1 is the result of crossing Miracle 15 with Alien Cookies F2 #7. The story behind MAC 1 is impressive. Capulator (Cap) is an old-school, well-regarded breeder. After crossing Colombian and Starfighter, Cap harvested 15 seeds. He also accidentally sent those seeds for a spin in the washing machine. Of the 15, a single seed germinated, and that plant became “Miracle 15” for obvious reasons. Eventually, Miracle 15 was crossed with Alien Cookies F2 #7 to create MAC 1.
Limonene, caryophyllene, and pinene are the top terpene contenders in MAC 1, so the flavor hits your palate with citrus paired with herbs, followed by nutty pistachios, a hint of sour cherry, and a little sweet cheese. The culmination is the perfect toss-up between creamy, sweet and funky, which carries over into the profound aromatics just the same.
MAC 1 is a one-two puncher. You get heavy cerebral effects, followed by just as heavy physical effects. Initially, MAC 1 yields this unrelenting euphoria and giggly effect. You may even find yourself feeling creative and insightful, but those physical effects can and will hit after a brief intermission. Therefore, the strain will no doubt have you glued somewhere, starry eyed, and mesmerized before the night’s over.
