Lemon Tree was developed in an effort to pull together two bold-flavored cultivars with a Hybrid genetic makeup. So the two parent strains happen to be some of the most aromatic, flavorful, and potent plants in cannabis: Lemon Skunk and Sour Diesel. While the cannabinoid profiles can vary, the matchup yielded a cultivar with THC ranges between 20 and 25 percent.

The Lemon Tree strain is actually a parent strain for Lemon Tree/Purple Chem, which is an alpha offspring. Both Purple Chem and Lemon Tree come from the Chemdog lineage, so crossing the two amplifies the all-star flavor profile and effects.
