Jay Lane from Dead and Co. Representing Chemdog

Word on the street is, Jay Lane, the drummer for Dead & Co. has been spotted live wearing Chemdog shirts. Way to represent before the masses! You know this makes us ecstatic at Canna Provisions, especially since Chem (Greg “Chemdog” Krzanowski, aka the Father of Kind Bud) happens to be our very own Director of Cultivation.

Who Is Dead and Co?

Dead & Co. is the great American rock group made up of the original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart with the addition of John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti, Oteil Burbridge, and Jay Lane on drums. Dead & Co. has held an annual tour annually since 2015 and kicked off The Final Tour at the beginning of summer 2023.

It was the birth of this legendary strain that led to Chem becoming one of the most sought-after growers in the country.

ChemDog and the Smash Hits Collection

Today, Chem continues to grow the award-winning original Chem 91 strain right here at Canna Provisions. Over the years, he has also brought many other great cultivars to life directly from the real OG’s lineage, such as:

Chem’s unique collection of prized, potent, flavorful strains is now referred to as the Smash Hits collection.
